How much does it cost to get my dog groomed?
This depends on many variables. Size, breed temperament of dog, condition of skin, coat and service you would like. We can give you an estimate over the phone, or text. But an accurate assessment can not be made till I see your pet.
My dog sheds all the time, what can you do?
Our Hairy dog package is designed just for this. It will reduce the shedding up to 75% and possibly more. if done every 4-6 weeks.
My dog is matted, what can you do for him?
We want to do what is in the best interest of your baby. We do not want to stress or cause them any pain. We do offer a dematting service at $1 per minute after 10 minutes. But this is ONLY done if we believe it will not cause discomfort or stress to your pet. We do NOT dematt seniors or dogs with known illnesses or disabilities. In these cases (and many others) it is best to shave your baby and start over. Your pet will feel better and so will you knowing they’re comfortable and happy!
If you do not want to pay the dematting charge you may also dematt your pooch pryor to our arrival.
How do you know what your arrival time will be?
I will give you a time frame of 1-2 hours(ex: 2-4:00pm). If I cannot arrive within this time frame for any reason I will notify you. Please do not feed your pup for at least an hour before his groom and allow him a chance to relieve himself outside before I arrive.
What if the client needs to cancel their pet's appointment?
Please notify me of your cancellation within 24 hours before the day of your appointment so I can fill your slot. Please do this through text. If it is less than 24 hours there will be a $40.00 cancellation fee which must be paid before your next groom.
What happens when V.I.P Mobile grooming llc needs to cancel an appointment?
Sometimes we may need to cancel your appointment because of vehicle problems, weather conditions, equipment failure, illness, emergencies, etc. We will make every effort possible to reach you, including leaving a message with every contact source you give us to reschedule.
What if I‘m not home?
If you are not home (unless we have made other arrangements) we will wait for 15 minutes after trying to contact you. If we are unable to contact you and you do not arrive within 15 minutes you will be charged a $40.00 no-show fee per dog.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept cash, card, paypal, cashapp or check (checks require valid driver’s license #). All returned checks will be charged a $36.00 processing fee along with the original balance.
Why does Mobile cost more than stationary salons?
Our prices match our services. Your dog receives a one-on-one service not available in stationary salons. They are done in half the time so your baby is back to your arms quicker! Because of all this we are unable to do the volume anywhere near that of a stationary salon, yet we have more overhead costs. This is reflected in our prices.
Do you have evening or weekend appointments? What about an emergency appointment?
We occasionally offer Saturday appointments. However, we are not offically open on Saturdays so these appointments will vary by availablity. If you are find you cannot be home during the week we offer plenty of options if no one can be there We have many clients who give us garage codes, spare keys, etc. We only ask that your dog is contained to one room or a crate so that we can find them easily.
We can schedule you an after hours appointment if needed. There will be an additional $30.00 charge for this. These appointments are limited and may not always be available. Please contact us for availability.
